If medication is not an option for you, you can choose to terminate your pregnancy through uterine aspiration, a method that is just as safe and faster than the pill-based treatment, since it takes about 15 minutes in the operating room.
Requirements for Requesting a Medical Abortion
• Be no more than 8 weeks pregnant or 56 days from the first day of your last menstrual period.
• Be in good health.
• Not be undergoing any medical treatment.
• Have no history of allergic reactions to either of the two abortion medications used: Mifepristone and Misoprostol.
